Here's a little something you don't see every day!
This Gretsch amp originally included a battery pack, and I believe it might have been rechargeable. This has been removed as of course it was very old.
The amp has value as a working piece and an early solid state guitar amp example, but if nothing else it does include three gold Gretsch knobs that would be correct on a 60's Gretsch guitar and two Jensen C8R speakers. These parts alone go for at least $250 if separated from the amp.
But, it is a cool looking piece of history as well, so it should probably stay together.
It doesn't light the place on fire - it sounds cool and all, but it is mostly eye candy or an addition to your Gretsch collection that your friends very likely do not have.
The front cover is pretty rad too.
