This Fender Deluxe AA763 amp is from 1963, bearing a tube chart stamp "ML" (December, 1963).
The amp is in nearly pristine condition but has seen essential service: the filter caps and the power cable have been professionally replaced.
The tone is to die for. There's something about these non-reverb Deluxe amps! The amp runs quiet, clean and strong. The original speaker has the original cone and sounds perfect.
The original Oxford speaker dates to early 1963. Pots date to the 43th week of 1963. The original power transformer dates to the 25th week of 1963, the choke the 29th week, and the output transformer from the 25th. The serial number actually dates to early 1964.
All the tubes test out perfectly.
A non original cover is included to keep this as the cleanest Pre CBS Fender Deluxe out there!
