This Way Huge Blue Hippo MK II Chorus is the celebrated reissue of one of the most sought-after boutique modulation pedals of the 1990s, designed by legendary builder Jorge Tripps. Known for its lush, warm, and highly musical chorus tones, the Blue Hippo MK II delivers everything from subtle shimmer to deep, swirling modulation without compromising clarity or low-end response.
Built in the USA, this pedal features a fully analog circuit with simple three-knob control layout, making it incredibly intuitive to dial in. Unlike many choruses, the Blue Hippo excels at preserving note definition while adding depth and movement—making it a favorite for guitarists and bassists alike. It performs equally well in front of an amp or in effects loops, and stacks beautifully with overdrive and fuzz pedals.
This example is in excellent condition and functions perfectly.
At Mahar’s Vintage Guitars, every pedal is carefully inspected, tested, and photographed accurately.
We buy, sell, and accept trades on boutique pedals, vintage effects, guitars, and amplifiers. Explore our Pedals Collection, Vintage Fender Guitars, or visit our Sell or Trade Your Gear page for more.
