This 1988 Kramer neck came to us with the rest of the guitar, which had previously been subject to refinishing and hardware changes.

The neck includes the original tuners, which had never been changed.  The attachment on the back of the headstock remains, with the allen wrenches needed for adjustment of the guitar's Floyd Rose tremolo.  The string retainers on the locking nut might be changed.  The frets appear to be original and have lots of life left.

The headstock's finish is original.  The back of the neck is satin throughout.  I'm honestly not sure if the back of the neck has been stripped, but it seems to feel and look original.  It looks like there is a small crack between the "skunk stripe" on the back of the neck and the neck/headstock transition.  This is superficial, however, and does not feel like a crack.

The truss rod was checked and it is fully functional.
