The Fender Blues Junior has been one of the most widely used small combo amplifiers in production since its introduction in 1995 — 15 watts from two EL84 power tubes with tube-driven spring reverb in a portable 1x12 format that fits in a car, sits on a barstool, and fills a small club without breaking a sweat. The early USA-made examples from the late 1990s and early 2000s are specifically sought out by players who know the model's production history — built in Corona, California before production moved offshore, with the Schumacher transformers and construction quality of the domestic Fender manufacturing era.
This 2000 example is all original with one upgrade: the electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with F&T caps. The German-manufactured filter caps that amp technicians and boutique builders consistently specify for their reliability, low noise floor, and tonal contribution. F&T caps are a well-regarded and widely respected upgrade in vintage and current production amplifiers alike. Original Schumacher power and output transformers, both dated to weeks 41 and 42 of 2000. Original Fender Special Design 12" speaker with original cone, in excellent condition. Original reverb tank. Sovtek EL84 power tubes, Mesa 12AX7 preamp tubes. Original pots, original black tolex, silver sparkle grille cloth in very good condition. Original rubber handle. Fender cover included. Excellent condition throughout. At 31 lbs 4.5 oz this is a manageable, gig-able combo.
We tested all the tubes, cleaned the pots and tube sockets and made sure the amp is 100% good to go.

Shipping Policy
By completing your purchase you are agreeing to this shipping policy. Shipments require signature on delivery, no exceptions. Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely. If there is damage, retain all packing materials intact, photograph them immediately, and send the photos to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.
Amplifiers: We take additional precautions to prevent common shipping damage. Depending on the amp, this may include removing tubes, pulling the chassis from the cabinet if heavy transformers present a drop risk, or removing heavy speakers that could crack baffles in transit. Reassembly is required on delivery — we label everything clearly. These measures add to shipping costs but reflect hard-won experience. All amps are tested in our shop upon intake and again before shipping. We cover shipping damage but cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in instruments that are 20 to 50-plus years old.
