Fender SRV Signature Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster 2002

This 2002 Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster pays homage to one of the most influential blues guitarists of all time. Built in the Fender Custom Shop tradition, the SRV Strat features a select alder body finished in sunburst with gold-plated hardware, a left-handed vintage tremolo, and the iconic black “SRV” pickguard. It’s modeled after Vaughan’s famous “Number One” Strat, capturing the look, feel, and sound that defined Texas blues in the 1980s and beyond.

Under the hood are three Texas Special single-coil pickups, delivering glassy highs, punchy mids, and that unmistakable SRV bite. The thick oval neck profile offers exceptional comfort and sustain, while the pau ferro fingerboard adds warmth and smoothness to every note.

This example is in near mint condition, with minimal playwear and includes its original hardshell case and accessories.  The frets look unused.  The neck is straight and the guitar set up nicely.  There is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustments. 

The only change to the guitar is a Fender roller nut.  It looks original on there, frankly, but I can't find another SRV strat with one, so unless this is a special order guitar I have to assume that it was changed.  There are no other changes, and no issues with the guitar whatsoever.

Original goodies from Fender remain in the original tweed case.

There are multiple shipping cost options for purchases made on our site.  Select Ground, 3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day Air Saver.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for these Eastern states and shipment will be made by UPS three-day-air.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
