This 2009 Fender Road Worn Tele Custom is a unique hybrid build that combines vintage character with modern upgrades.

The ash Road Worn Tele Custom body brings authentic relic’d style and resonance, while the original 1975 Fender Telecaster neck adds true vintage mojo, seasoned playability, and collectible appeal.

Though this is a partscaster to the core, you can quickly add up the value here when you consider the fact that it has a 1975 neck, the expensive Bludgeon pickups, etc.

Equipped with Fender’s Joe Bonamassa “Bludgeon” pickups, this guitar delivers powerful tone with rich mids, articulate highs, and enough output to handle blues, rock, or modern edge. The upgraded electronics make this Tele stand apart from standard Road Worn models, giving it boutique-level sound and responsiveness.  New CTS pots were installed when the pickups were added.  A little bit of modification to the neck pickup route was necessary to get the humbucker in there.  The pickguard was made to fit by our friends, the Chandlers of Chandler guitar fame.  Check their website sometime at www.pickguardplanet.com.

The Bigsby is an aftermarket addition.  We got it set up nicely, and welcome the warbly vibrato.

There are multiple shipping cost options for purchases made on our site.  Select Ground, 3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day Air Saver.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for these Eastern states and shipment will be made by UPS three-day-air.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
