Played on countless hit recordings for decades, the mid-'60s Deluxe Reverb is a timeless Fender classic and one of the most indispensable workhorse guitar amps ever made — moderately powered, producing a full, snappy, and crystalline tone revered in studios from Muscle Shoals to Abbey Road and on stages worldwide. The standard '65 Deluxe Reverb reissue is one of the most proven and widely used amplifiers in production. The Limited Edition Western adds brown tooled western vinyl covering and wheat grille cloth that changes the visual from the utilitarian black-and-silver of the standard reissue to something that looks really sweet in a recording studio, on a country stage, or in a well-appointed living room. 

The speaker upgrade is a nice add. The Celestion Creamback G12M delivers enhanced midrange, warm vintage character, and responsiveness — bringing out clarity in each note, ideal for detailed playing, with a smoother break-up when pushed and a sweeter top-end tone than the standard Jensen-equipped version. The Creamback is a widely respected speaker in its own right, and its character — slightly warmer and more complex in the midrange than the Jensen C12K — shapes the overall voice of the amp in a way that experienced you'll notice immediately.

The circuit is the proven AA763 Deluxe Reverb specification: 22 watts from two 6V6 power tubes with 5AR4 tube rectifier, tube-driven spring reverb, tube vibrato, two channels with four inputs, Schumacher power, output, and reverb transformers. Features include dual channels — normal and vibrato — with tube-driven reverb and tube vibrato, and a two-button footswitch for reverb and vibrato on/off. Pine cabinet, pine baffle, all original. Original footswitch and Fender cover included. At 41 lbs 13 oz this is a standard Deluxe Reverb weight — substantial but manageable as a one-person carry.

Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely. If there is damage, retain all packing materials intact, photograph them immediately, and send the photos to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.

Amplifiers: We take additional precautions to prevent common shipping damage. Depending on the amp, this may include removing tubes, pulling the chassis from the cabinet if heavy transformers present a drop risk, or removing heavy speakers that could crack baffles in transit. Reassembly is required on delivery — we label everything clearly. These measures add to shipping costs but reflect hard-won experience. All amps are tested in our shop upon intake and again before shipping. We cover shipping damage but cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in instruments that are 20 to 50-plus years old.
