The Boss OC-3 Super Octave is a versatile octave pedal that delivers rich, polyphonic octave tones for guitar and bass. As the evolution of the classic OC-2, the OC-3 adds polyphonic tracking, drive mode for gritty octave effects, and a dedicated bass input for clean low-frequency response. Players can blend direct sound with one or two sub-octaves, making it ideal for fattening riffs, synth-like bass lines, and ambient textures.
This example is in excellent working condition with fully responsive controls, jacks, and footswitch. The pedal includes controls for Direct Level, Oct 1, Oct 2, and Mode selection, allowing players to shape everything from subtle octave support to earth-shaking low-end. Its poly mode enables chords to track cleanly—something earlier octave pedals struggled with—while Drive mode adds harmonic saturation perfect for rock and heavier genres.
There is no serial and no label remaining on the back, so I am guessing that this pedal is from the 2000s.
