I purchased this 1999 Martin D-42 at a recent guitar show.  I looked it over, strummed an open G chord that I couldn't really hear because the show was so packed, and made the deal.  When we got back to the shop and got it set up I realized just what a great purchase it was.  This guitar sounds tremendous.  It isn't bad lookin' either.

Someone played the guitar, but they took good care of it.  I believe it has been refretted.  It has been fitted with a replacement bone nut and saddle as well.  The original tuners are in the case, and a matching set of Gotoh tuners were installed without any alterations to the headstock.

The action is just right and the neck feels perfect.  There are no cracks or other changes or repairs.  The original case is included, along with a bit of original paperwork.
