This example's three-way power attenuator — switchable between 4W, 1W, and 1\/4W — makes it genuinely useful at a range of volumes without sacrificing the tube character. The solid-state rectifier gives it a tighter, more articulate feel compared to tube-rectified designs, and the 16-ohm Celestion VX10 custom speaker was spec'd specifically for this model.  The amp is louder than you might think, and it can be tamed as well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEverything on this amp is original — cabinet, baffle, grille, chassis, knobs, handle, potentiometers, and speaker — and none of it has been repaired or altered.
