It suits high-gain amplifiers well but also works with cleaner tones where articulation matters. This cabinet is in excellent condition throughout.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVHT relaunched as a significant player in the boutique and mid-tier amp market in the 2010s, and their D-212 cabinet represents their in-house speaker program taken seriously. The ChromeBack drivers are VHT's own voiced design, built to complement their amplifier heads. The cabinet dimensions — 27.5\" wide, 21\" tall, 11.75\" deep — keep it compact relative to its 120W mono (or 60W per side stereo) power handling. At 49 lbs, it's on the lighter end for a loaded 2x12, which the poplar construction contributes to.
