The Fender Troublemaker Telecaster Deluxe stands out as a bold reinterpretation of the classic Telecaster, merging traditional elements with modern flair and functionality. Its solid body, crafted from mahogany with a maple top, lends a rich and resonant tone that adds depth and sustain, differentiating it from the more common alder or ash bodies found in standard Telecasters.
The maple neck is designed for comfort with a modern "C" profile, making it versatile enough to suit a wide range of playing styles. The rosewood fingerboard is adorned with 22 medium jumbo frets and classic dot inlays. The frets are nearly new with little discernable wear. The same goes for the rest of the guitar.
What truly sets the Troublemaker Telecaster Deluxe apart is its pickup configuration, featuring high-output Shawbucker humbucking pickups. These pickups deliver a thicker, more powerful sound, providing a versatile tonal palette that ranges from warm and smooth to gritty and aggressive. The controls are thoughtfully designed, with two volume knobs and two tone knobs allowing for precise tonal shaping, and a three-way toggle switch enabling seamless transitions between the neck pickup, bridge pickup, or a blend of both.
A tuneomatic bridge with six saddles ensures precise intonation and stable tuning, while high-quality locking tuners make string changes quick and easy, providing the reliability needed for both stage and studio settings.
Visually, the Troublemaker Telecaster Deluxe is striking. and obviously mixes elements of Gibson and Fender designs.
In terms of sound, the Troublemaker Telecaster Deluxe delivers a punchy, high-output performance ideal for rock, blues, and heavier music styles. Yet, it retains the clarity and articulation necessary for cleaner tones, making it a versatile tool for any musician.
There are no changes, repairs or issues with the guitar whatsoever. It is a light example of this model, weighing in at 8 pounds, 2 ounces. The truss rod was checked to make sure there is room for future neck relief adjustments, and we gave her a fresh setup with 10-46 strings.

Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.
