It uses Strymon's DSP platform to reproduce the characteristic pitch modulation, amplitude swirl, and cabinet resonance that defines the rotary sound — without the weight or maintenance of the real thing. The pedal covers everything from slow, warm chorus-like movement to fast, driven Leslie overdrive tones, making it useful for organ-style keyboard work as well as guitar.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Lex offers two speed modes (Slow and Fast) with continuously variable ramp time between them, a Brake function that stops the rotor and lets it spin back up, and a Drive control that adds rotor overdrive. The Clean\/Dirty switch selects between two amp voicings within the effect. A mono input and stereo output configuration lets players take advantage of the full left-right spread of the rotary simulation.
