The mahogany body is the tonal departure from the standard Telecaster platform — warmer and more midrange-focused than ash or alder, with more body resonance and less of the Tele's characteristic spank and snap. The Standard-T pickups read 7.42k neck and 6.21k bridge — the neck notably hotter than the bridge, which is an unusual voicing inversion from standard Tele spec, and worth noting for players who dial between positions. Brass saddles on the fixed Tele bridge contribute sustain and warmth over the standard steel saddle configuration.
