The Texas Hot sits between the SSL-1 vintage output and the hotter SSL-5 in Duncan's Strat lineup — enough extra wind to push an amp harder and cut through a mix, with the Alnico 5 magnet retaining the clarity and articulation that ceramic-magnet high-output pickups can sacrifice.
