The spider bridge with its ebony and maple saddle transfers vibration efficiently to the cone, and the 25.5\" scale with 1-11\/16\" nut width makes this a comfortable player whether you're running standard tuning or an open slide tuning. Overall condition is excellent, and it's strung with 12-53s with action measuring 3\/32\" on both the first and sixth strings at the 12th fret.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe RR-50-VS sits at the top of Recording King's round-neck resonator line, featuring genuine ebony fretboard, bone nut, Grover open-gear tuners, and top and back binding — details that set it apart from entry-level resonators. The mahogany neck has a C profile and comes in at .825\" at the first fret and 1.05\" at the eighth, a comfortable modern taper. The 12\" fretboard radius is flatter than many vintage-spec instruments, making it well suited to slide or fingerpicking work without the string tension fighting you. Recording King builds these to a spec informed by classic National and Dobro designs but with modern playability standards.
