I'd never seen a Moar before trading this one in, and was pleasantly surprised by this vibey piece.
Moar is a small builder based in Denmark. He's built a solid following for his unique, sparse designs. Here is a link to his website: https://moarguitars.com/
This guitar would command a $2850 plus price tag from Moar.
The control cavity plate is made of bloodwood, cut by the original owner. He also replaced the pickup with a Gemini Gold Foil. The original, Moar wound pickup is in the case.
The guitar is remarkably light and comfortable to play. I really like the truss rod adjustment, recessed into the fretboard and set for easy adjustment.
The neck set is really unique, and it is all smoothed out for when you're way up there, shredding it out.
Overall, this minimalist, eye catching guitar is a really unique piece to add to your arsenal. It is so resonant, it would be a good couch player. The Guyatone gold foil has a lot of chime and gets some great distortion tones too.
