That combination produces a focused, balanced sound with clear note separation and enough warmth in the low-mids to hold its own fingerpicking or with a flatpick. The 25.4\" scale, 1-3\/4\" bone nut, and modified low oval mahogany neck make for a comfortable, fast-feeling instrument, and the 16\" fingerboard radius and slim neck profile (.831\" at the first fret, .925\" at the ninth) suit players who prefer a flatter board. This example is in excellent overall condition. The top shows very good finish with no cracks and no repairs.
