The combination of a solid birch plywood enclosure and a single Celestion G12M 70 speaker produces a focused, tight low end with the characteristic midrange punch associated with 12-inch Celestion drivers — well suited to high-gain and classic British tones alike.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Model 1933 was part of Marshall's JCM 800 series, which defined the sound of 1980s rock. The enclosure is constructed entirely from solid plywood — Baltic birch — which contributes to both rigidity and resonance. The cabinet handles up to 65 watts at 16 ohms.
