This model has been discontinued, despite the well deserved popularity.
The body is chambered, and the TV Jones TArmond pickups combine with the distinctive construction to give you an array of killer sounds with almost vocal character. If you don’t have a guitar with single coil Dearmond pickups, you really ought to consider a new acquisition. There is no substitute for the sound!
The guitar is light and well balanced, extremely comfortable to play!
The unicorn motif seems to be a take on Gretsch White Penguin or White Falcon guitars, and thus the Kauer came with Gretsch knobs as a stock feature.
The guitar is near mint and comes with the original gig bag. No other case candy is included.

Here's what Doug has to say about the Starliner semi hollow:
We call it a Semi Hollow but that's not truly what it is. Somewhere between "chambered" and "semi hollow" we voice our Semi Hollows to be a bigger, more open version of the full solid Standard, but not into the laminated semi's (or like an Argonaut / Daylighter Supreme). The best way to describe it, imagine playing your favorite solid body guitar through a 1x12 amp, then plugging in another 1x12. Our Semi Hollow's are like that. Just bigger and more open but with all the thump and girth of the solid models.
Originally, this guitar had a Bigsby with a Vibramute attachment that allows for the Bigsby to be on the guitar without adding holes in the top or at the buttom edge of the guitar. The original owner removed the Bigsby and it is not included with the guitar.
