Ask yourself: Why buy a new guitar when Mahar's Vintage Guitars has so many mint guitars at used guitar prices?

This 2012 Gibson SG Special falls right into the theory that used guitars present a much higher value when they are in nearly new condition and have already taken that hit in price from walking out of the store with someone else.

The guitar appears new in every way, right down to the sticker on the pickguard, adhered over the factory, clear protective pickguard cover layer.

The frets look new, or perhaps like the guitar was played once or twice.  We played it during our check in process, during which it received a new set of strings, a basic setup, verification of originality, and a check of the truss rod.

The guitar plays and functions flawlessly with no changes or issues.  It is light with low action.  Just a solid, no frills rock machine.

Included is the original gig bag.
