Part of Gibson’s True Historic Series, this guitar features period-correct plastics, hide glue construction, hand-carved maple top, and historically accurate neck profile—painstakingly recreated to match vintage specs in every detail.  As I understand it, the top carve on this guitar was pushed for by Tom when the guitar was in the planning stages to be the most vintage accurate to date.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a truly special instrument.  I had another Murphy from 2018 recently, with a Brazilian fretboard, which also blew us away.  This one definitely holds up to the other.  I'm not sure what's up with these limited runs -
