Here's a great sounding and professionally built Fender 5E3 Tweed Deluxe clone.
Having recently sold a Fender built, hand wired 50's Deluxe reissue, I can say that I am more impressed with this amp in every way. First, none of the overbearing safety measures that Fender has had to employ on the new reissues are present here, helping to retain the classic look of a real 50's tweed amp. The builder used Mercury Magnetics transformers, whish is pretty much the highest quality option out there. The Weber speaker tops it off with killer, vintage tone.
There is a vintage, US made GE preamp tube and Sylvania rectifier tube as well as one new JJ 12AX7 and recent JJ 6V6 tubes.
The lacquered cab is in near mint condition. The cabinet is finger-jointed pine and is also extremely well built.
This circuit is one of the best sounding out there with loads of tone and sag as you push it. There really is no replacement for the Tweed Deluxe!
