This might be the best sounding contemporary Fender amp I've stumbled into. It is set up for gigging for sure.
It is a perfect setup really - 22 watts from two 6V6 output tubes and a single 12" speaker. It is kind of like a Deluxe Reverb, but there is channel switching.
A four button footswitch is included. It offers: channel switching, clean channel "Fat" voicing on/off, reverb on/off, effects loop on/off. The Fat control really is FAT!
Channel one is simple but effective. Controls include volume, bass, treble, and the Fat switch.
Channel two controls include Gain 1, Gain 2, Treble, Mid, Bass, and Volume. Fender describes the two gain knobs like this: "This versatile Super-Sonic model has two gain controls for its high-gain "burn" channel, with the first providing hugely satisfying distortion and the second adding more sustain and harmonic richness." Yes, they call Channel Two the "Burn" channel. The two controls are actually pretty cool to mess with.
Rounding out the controls is the reverb knob. The effects loop is pretty key as so many of us have huge pedal hoards, and putting your chorus or delay pedals in the loop is really the best way to go.
The amp is all-original, includes the original cover, and is in excellent condition.
