Fender Coronado II Wildwood I “Rainbow Gold” 1967 – Vintage Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar

This 1967 Fender Coronado II Wildwood I in rare "Rainbow Gold" finish is a striking example of Fender’s bold late-‘60s experimentation.

Crafted with dyed beechwood veneers injected with living pigments, the Wildwood I series is visually unforgettable.

This fully hollow, double-cutaway body features two original DeArmond single-coil pickups, a bound rosewood fingerboard, and distinctive checkerboard binding.

With its vibrant look, warm acoustic resonance, and classic DeArmond sparkle, this vintage Coronado II is both a collector’s gem and a unique player’s instrument from Fender’s psychedelic era.

The guitar shows a perfect amount of natural playwear.  The back of the neck is nicely worn in and very comfortable to play.  

The frets are full and have been milled once.  They might have been changed - they feel a little taller than I recall those on other Coronados to be, which is a good thing.

All the parts are original, and aside from the possible refret there are no repairs.  The neck is straight and the truss rod has room for future neck relief adjustment.  

A modern Ibanez case is included.

There are two shipping cost options for purchases made on our site for these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.  Select Standard shipping at checkout and your item will be shipped via UPS three-day-air.  Select Economy shipping and your item will ship via UPS ground.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for these Eastern states and shipment will be made by UPS three-day-air.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
