This bass was used for a bit - a very little bit. The plastic is still on the pickguard, and there are a few signs of use, notably a small finish chip near the neck heel on the back and a small area of wear on the back of the neck - see the pics.
This part of Fender's line brings everything you want from a P Bass in an American Made package that you can afford. But, affordability in this case comes with no compromise. The neck is shaped for a vintage feel, with rolled edges and an early 60's profile and a somewhat satin feeling finish that Fender calls "Super-Natural". Basically, the neck feels like an older instrument, like it has been played in a bit without being relic'd or otherwise artificially worn.
The bass came to us with no case, so a new Gator case has been added to round out the package.
