The late-70s Twin Reverb is a high-headroom, loud-clean platform capable of up to 135 watts through two 12\" speakers.  The amp produces the wide, glassy clean tone this circuit is known for. The Master Volume circuit, introduced in this era, adds a gain stage that allows the preamp to be pushed, giving players more flexibility than the earlier non-master-volume Twin design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe amp runs four 6L6 power tubes in a fixed-bias push-pull configuration, which is core to its characteristic tight low end and extended clean headroom. The filter and bypass capacitors have been replaced  — a standard maintenance procedure for amps of this age.  Everything else but the tubes is original. The transformers are original and all date to 1977. The speakers are original Utah 12\" drivers, both in excellent condition. Current power tubes are Svetlana 6L6s; preamp tubes are Sovtek and EHX - all were tested in our shop.  We also cleaned the tube sockets and pots. The original footswitch pedal is included and is in very good condition. The amp weighs 63 lbs 8 oz. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe amp will be shipped in three boxes and will require assembly on arrival.  Speakers will be removed to protect the baffle from damage.  The chassis will be removed to protect the cabinet and chassis.  Big amps like this can and will take damage if dropped in shipping -
