{"product_id":"fender-1965-princeton-reverb-limited-edition-wine-red-handwired-excellent","title":"Fender 2024 '65 Handwired Princeton Reverb Limited Edition Wine Red, Excellent","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNo sales tax for US customers outside California.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Fender 2024 1965 Princeton Reverb Limited Edition in wine red is in excellent condition.  The original circuit board, power transformer, and output transformer were removed and a full, handwired circuit was installed by my friend and longtime amp tech, Pat Miller.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a 2024 limited edition reissue of the 1965 Princeton Reverb, but it's been taken a significant step further with a full 1965-style hand-wired rewire. Mercury Magnetics power and output transformers were installed (models FBTPP-M and FBFPO-S respectively), and the Schumacher reverb transformer is original to the rewire. The Jensen P12Q 12\" ceramic magnet speaker, date-coded to week 35 of 2023, is original and in excellent shape. The amp sounds better through my Two Rock bench cabinet - I think the Jensen speaker hasn't been broken in yet and it sounds bright.  At 12 watts with a GZ34 rectifier and a pair of Tung Sol 6V6s, this thing is set up to deliver the classic blackface Princeton Reverb sound with better-than-stock iron.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEverything cosmetic and structural is original and unmodified — wine red tolex, wheat grille, birch\/pine multi-ply cabinet and baffle, chassis, knobs, and rubber handle all check out original and excellent. The internal work is the only departure from stock: the power and output transformers are Mercury Magnetics replacements (non-original), and the amp received a full handwire rewire with filter caps replaced as part of that work. No other repairs or changes to note. The amp is dated 31 May 2024 per a sticker in the cab and the serial number.
