We work hard to keep at least one in stock at all times.  The 22-watt, 6V6-driven circuit running through a 12\" Oxford speaker produces clean to overdriven tones that made the Deluxe Reverb a studio and stage staple for sixty-plus years.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis example runs like a top and sounds amazing!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe AA763 circuit designation marks this as a first-year blackface Deluxe Reverb, introduced in 1963 and continuing through 1967. The 1964 examples are among the earliest production units.  This is confirmed on this example by the serial number, tube chart stamp, and internal component date codes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll four Schumacher transformers are original and date to mid-1964. The Oxford 12\" speaker carries manufacturer code 465 and date code 437, placing it in the 37th week of 1964.  The speaker is original to the amp. Power tubes are Raytheon and RCA 6V6s that are matched in specs despite the fact that they don't carry the same brand name. I included the RCA tubes that came to us with the amp.  They were likely original, so I decided they should stay with the amp despite the fact that they test as worn.  Preamp tubes are a mix of tested RCA and GE 12AT7s and 12AX7\/7025s. The rectifier is an Amperex 5AR4\/GZ34.  The original pedal is included.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe filter capacitors have been replaced, as have the bias and bypass caps.  The tremolo section has seen some beneficial updates, and the power cable is a grounded replacement.  All of this service will keep the amp running well, likely for decades.  Care was taken to replace only what was necessary.  The work represents a few hundred dollars investment if you took the amp to a local repair shop.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe potentiometers, knobs, chassis, handle, and all transformers are original. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eThe onboard reverb tank is original, the vibrato circuit is fully functional, and the amp has been serviced. Overall condition is excellent throughout: the original black tolex is intact, the wheat weave grille is in very good shape, and the pine cabinet and baffle are both excellent with no noted repairs or changes.
