When Fender moved to the 6G9-B circuit with 6L6 power tubes, the relatively lower plate voltages and smaller output transformer compared to the bigger Professional Amplifiers produced a different character — juicy crunch and tactile playing feel at manageable volumes, with the blonde circuit's midrange warmth and presence intact throughout.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"\u003eThirty watts from this circuit into the sealed 2x10 cabinet is a killer, incredibly toneful configuration.  It is loud enough to gig, manageable enough to record, and with enough tube rectifier sag from the GZ34 to compress and respond to pick attack in the way that solid-state rectification cannot replicate. Original Schumacher, powertransformer, output transformer and choke are all intact.
