Brass produces a warmer, rounder fundamental with more sustain and a less aggressive high-end bite — still clear and present, but with a smoothness that suits fingerstyle playing and slide work equally well. The 24.5\" scale and biscuit-style ebony bridge keep the response lively without excess tension. This example is in excellent overall condition and a beautiful setup.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Dobro Model 36-1 'The Rose' takes its name from the engraved floral pattern covering the brass body — a more ornate variant within the Dobro resonator line. The brass body construction, ebony fretboard, bone nut, and Grover tuners reflect a well-specified instrument built for players who want resonator tone without sacrificing feel or fit-and-finish. The rounded U maple neck with a 12\"-14\" compound radius fretboard and 1-3\/4\" nut width make for a comfortable, predictable feel across the neck. All original hardware and finish are present and correct.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is buckle rash on the back that could not be polished out — this is the primary cosmetic issue and is visible in the photos. The brass top, sides, neck, fretboard, frets, bridge, saddle, and nut are all in excellent condition with no repairs. Action measures 2\/32\" on both the first and sixth strings at the 12th fret. The original case is included and rates very good condition with no odor. No documentation is included.
