It isn't really possible to nail down what year this Danelectro was made, but I do remember selling lots of them between 1998 and 01 when I had a music store.
These guitars are a great value, and a good way to add a new sound to your arsenal. This model in particular is a good couch guitar - it has its own whacky Dano acoustic sound even when it isn't plugged in. Plugged in, it is light as a feather but loaded with tone!
