SOLD - Burny Les Paul Custom RLC-60 1990
$0.00A great guitar that meets all the Interweb hype!
There is some superficial cosmetic wear - dings in the finish - please see pics. None of the dings are as impactful as they look in pictures. The fretboards on these Burnys are "ebonized", dyed to look like ebony. This example has much of the ebonized dye missing and the fretboard looks like rosewood.
Unlike most LP copies, this one is pretty light - only 7lb 14oz. The guitar is all original with the exception of maybe the knobs. It shows some honest playwear but has plenty of fret life left and no big, ugly dings. There is one decent ding through the finish at the tip of the headstock however. The pickup rings both have a small crack in them. Electronics are unmolested.
There is an area on the front of the body that appears to have had a large sticker on it - the yellowing of the finish in this area is less than on other parts of the guitar. It is somewhat difficult to make this area out, but I wanted to mention it.
The neck plays great, somewhere between a 50's and 60's carve with no volute.
I am including a nice gig bag as the guitar came to me without a case. The bag has one zipper that is missing the pull tab, something that could easily be rectified. I am including the gig bag to have something to ship the guitar in, and because it is a really nice case with almost hardshell properties, I can definitely ship it anywhere without worry.
