This 2013 Bad Cat Cougar 5 is an import amp, making it an affordable way to access Bad Cat tone.
A 5 watt, single-ended, class-A tube amp with a 12" speaker is more than you might think it could be. The amp is well-regarded according to independent reviews out there in forum posts. What you'll read if you do the Googling yourself is that the amp is rich and warm, producing sweet overdrive when pushed.
Putting a 12" speaker in a single-ended, low watt amp allows it to really move some air. The amp will be right at home in your home, but it is also capable of keeping up with a band in a reasonable volume setting. It'll just kill it in the studio too.
The amp is in excellent, original condition. We tested all the tubes prior to listing to make sure they're good to go.
