This Acoustic G100T is recognized as a solid copy of the Mesa Boogie Mark II, and it does resemble one inside and out, with Acoustic's own touch on aesthetics.

There is a lot of flexibility here, with a 5 band graphic EQ and pull pots on Bass and Treble.  The Vol 1/2 switch enables one pair or all four of the power tubes - stated to switch from 50 to 100 watts.  The amp came in on consignment with just two power tubes, which is a perfectly safe way to run the amp, so this switch will not change the sound unless you add a couple of power tubes.  We tested all the tubes to make sure they're good to go.

The amp is in great shape and it is built!  One note: the Standby switch is frozen in place and does not work.  Fortunately, it is frozen in the ON position.

The amp was consigned by a local amp tech, who went through it before he brought it over for consignment.  He went through the amp and performed a couple fixes, giving the rest a clean bill of health.

Shipping policy:

When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping.  We remove the chassis from some amps so that the large transformers don't damage a chassis or cabinet.  We remove heavy speakers from some amps so they don't damage baffles.  These cases result in multiple box shipments, and they require the buyer to do some assembly on delivery.  We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
