Here we have a somewhat rare Gibson ES-139, a Memphis built hollow electric guitar with a sealed top, offering that hollowbody tone with more stability and feedback control.
Check out the frets, edges of the headstock, back of the neck, etc. The guitar is basically new! It includes the original case, COA, warranty paper and the original Guitar Center price tag.
Purchased new and stashed. I'm pretty sure we were the first ones to play this guitar, and it plays great!
Our check in procedure revealed that the guitar is 100% original with no changes or issues. The neck is perfect, with a fully functional truss rod. We set it up with a new set of strings, giving it a quick fret polish in the process - the frets showed some tarnishing from lack of use.
This is a light, comfortable guitar to play with lots of natural resonance. It'll go from blues, to jazz, to rock with ease.
