The mahogany neck has a C profile with a 12\" fretboard radius, 25 5\/8\" scale, 1-11\/16\" nut width, and slim-to-moderate neck thickness (.794\" at the 1st fret, .913\" at the 10th). The back of the neck has been steel-wooled down to the wood.  The original tortoiseshell pickguard is in place. Tuners are original Grovers with no headstock modifications. The nut and saddle are spec'd as bone by Guild; ours are brown in color and we are not sure if they are bone or a substitute. The bridge and bridge plate are original. There is no pickup system. Frets are in very good condition. The truss rod is functional with room for future adjustment. The fretboard radius is 12\" and the neck profile is a C shape.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe important things are original— finish, tuners, nut (shimmed during a reftret), pickguard, bridge, and saddle are all unaltered. There are no repairs to the neck or the fretboard.  There is some light fretboard pitting in the lower register and the frets do show some wear that does not require work.  A professional refret was performed at some point in the guitar's life. There is a ding on the back of the neck behind the 3rd fret. The top shows finish checking and some worn spots; the top binding also has some worn spots — see photos. We set it up here in the shop; action is 3\/32\" on the first string and 3\/32\" on the sixth string at the 12th fret.
