Gibson BR9 Lap Steel All Original

Here is a perfect example of the coolest version of the BR9 Lap Steel.

Completely stock with the early "crackle" finish, the original, adjustable pole piece P90 pickup and the coveted output jack plate still in place - the plastic jack plate that is correct for Les Pauls from the early 50s through 1960.

The tuner buttons have deteriorated and cracked.  The guitar cannot be tuned currently.  We are awaiting new buttons and will add them to the original tuners when they arrive.  If you guy the guitar prior to their arrival it means that you're going to deal with it yourself - which of course is very easy.

The original case is super clean, like the steel.

In the case is some unique case candy.  The original owner must have been of Indian descent.  There is a set of guitar strings, made in India - never seen them before personally - and there is some text in the language of the original owner as well, along with an old slide, guitar cable and pitch pipe.
