The guitar market has found a place for these 1970s guitars, made in Japan to emulate Gibson and Fender designs.  They are often called "lawsuit guitars", especially these no-logo versions as the major brands began to crack down on design infringements.

This guitar is likely made by Matsumoku, an ES-335 knock off that does a reasonably good job of mimicking the look of a 70s Gibson.

The guitar is actually fully hollow, more like an ES-330 than a 335, and the split parallelogram inlays mirror an ES-345 or 355.

The guitar plays well for a budget piece, and it is all original.  The original frets show plenty of life remaining - they actually have barely been used.  The entire guitar is extremely clean.

The bridge pickup is the big catch.  It is dead.  I pulled the pots back to the bridge pickup location to check the resistance reading at the solder points and found that it is dead.  It is easier to deal with pickup swaps on this guitar than an ES-335 as there is no center block, so the harness can be pulled to the bridge pickup hole.

A gig bag is included.
