I'm loving Guild guitars from the 60's these days.  I always have had a thing for them, but I recently got my personal Starfire III back with a new refret - the frets were pretty well devastated so it was unplayable - and having it back in the fold was inspirational.

If there is a segment of the market that is undervalued these days, it is this period of Guild guitars.

This blonde example is really attractive - such a beauty!  It has seen some work, all of which make it even more functional and pleasurable to play.

The frets were professionally replaced and the neck binding was replaced as well.  These guitars can have neck binding issues, so that one potential knock against an original version was handled.

The original bridge and tailpiece are in the case, and a tune-o-matic style piece was applied with the aftermarket Bigsby.  Action and playability were enhanced with this upgrade.

The serial number and label are gone.   The guitar was dated by looking at the obviously original pots and seeing that they were made in 1966.

A non original hardshell case is included.
