This 1965 Newcomb tube PA absolutely kills for guitar. When you consider that there are four EL84 output tubes, this should be no great surprise.
These tube PA heads have taken the amp nerd world by storm for their awesome tone and cool looks.
I don't see that there were any serious mods performed to get this one to sound and work the way it does. There is a new power cable, 1/4" inputs on the side and a 1/4" output for an 8 ohm cab on the back. The transformers are original and dated to 1964.
