This 1957 Gibson Gibsonette GA-8 is a little screamer from the coolest era of Gibson amps.
The amp has seen some use, losing its logo in the process, but gaining longevity through some necessary maintenance - a couple of updated caps, a three prong power cable, and a changed potentiometer. We tested the tubes and cleaned the pots as well.
The speaker is original, dated to late 1956, as are the original transformers.
A killer little amp with two 6V6 output tubes and a 10" Jensen speaker - the formula for tonal success.
