Here's an amp with which we can provide some provenance. It was used by Stephen Stills for several years while it belonged to his former amp and guitar tech, who turned this beautiful sounding piece over to us.
The amp is a real survivor, still retaining its original transformers and most internal caps. The filter caps have been updated, as has bias section. The speaker is a 1963 Jensen C10Q, which really sounds amazing in this amp.
The tweed, handle, grille and all cabinet components are original as well.
The lettering on the clean chassis is very well intact.
If you're looking for an amp with an extreme amount of soul and out of this world tone, this is your ticket. It runs clean and quiet and simply roars.
