Call or email Chuck for details and pricing at 530-894-3139 or s-source@pacbell.net. Now this is something! A real '55 Strat that's 100% original and issue-free. It's the lightest one I've ever felt at just below 6 pounds 10 ounces.
There is some edge wear on the body, some surface wear around the output jack plate that doesn't go through the finish, a few nicks and one inch-long mark on the top of the body that doesn't go through the finish, the back is very clean with no buckle rash with the exception of some on the backplate. There is very little light wear on the fretboard, more to the edges of the fretboard, and no wear through the finish on the back of the neck- that's about it.
The orginal finish is in tact throughout with no changes or overspray. The logo is original. The original frets show some light wear and have been milled. The nut slot for the G string was cut a little deep, not a big deal to shore that up. All the parts are original, the plastic is in great shape with no cracks on the pickguard or backplate and only light wear on the pickup covers.
In the original case is the original strap, bridge cover, trem arm and both keys to the case. The case is so sweet looking, nicely aged but not beat and all the hinges and clasps, and the handle work.
